Lucas Haneman                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Lucas Haneman is quickly becoming one of the most sought after
guitarists of his generation in Eastern Canada. A graduate of the
Concordia University Music program, Haneman has received two Astral
Emerging Artist awards, the Oscar Peterson Jazz Scholarship, first
place in CNIBs’ national I Factor competition, and he is a two time
people’s choice award winner at the Montreal Guitar Grand Prix. Today
he is the band leader and frontman of The Lucas Haneman Express, who
have released 2 full length albums in the past 3 years, with another
to be released by mid 2018. The band’s current offering Tearing up
The Rails contains material that the band recorded at legendary Sun
Studios in Memphis, and has entered the top 20 on the Canadian
Rock and Roots Chart at various points throughout 2017.
Lucas Haneman is also the musical director for Toronto based Sony
Music artist Michelle Treacy. He has opened for or performed with
artists such as Robert Cray, The Downchild Blues Band, Harrison
Kennedy, the late great Jeff Healey, finger style guitarist Don Ross,
